Would like to get some fish to eat

Not looking to eat bass, but would like some panfish. I am in the Lexington area and would like to go places within an hour drive from Lexington with my kayak. would like some tips on catching bluegill and crappie, and favorite spots to go, favorite way to fish it, and what size is allowed for taking.. I am the only one in the house that eats it so I will only take 2-3 at most.

I would hit Cedar Creek Lake in Stanford. Good crappie, bluegill and redears, and LGbass.

you can get a small boat in easy. I put my 19 footer in at Ikes pool. Look for laydowns that come out in the main channel for crappie and fish the ends they suspend. Also fish the deep trees that are sticking out of the main channel. The big gills also like to hug the wood deep.
