    Man, what a TRIP

I've been on a bunch of fall trips, but man oh man......this one was the best.....

We found a lake where 4 of us caught over 300 fish in one day. Mostly smallies and largemouth. Nothing gigantic, but we did manage to catch a few good ones.

I will be updating my website soon....in the meantime, if you are on facebook, you can look at this :

Yeah that was an enjoyable video. That largemouth was a pig! Has Cooper caused them to flip the canoe before? I cannot imagine my lab sitting still for hours in a canoe unless he had a blanket to lay on.

Cooper is a well managed dog. He has not caused them to flip, but a few years ago, when my nephew Nathan went with us, Cooper nearly jumped out of the canoe when we brought that 20lb northern into the boat.

Cooper has a habit of "biting" and "tasting" the fish. Well, when he went to bite and taste the northern, the northern BITES back. When it opened it's mouth and it could have bit Cooper in half, he got the idea that he wasn't top dog in the canoe that particular day.

I kid you not, the dog jumped over the main thwart, and scratched his way to the very back of the boat with me. That **** near capsized us.......

    It was funnier than crap........

    Later,

    Geo
