I'm for anyone owning a gun or twenty if they want them, I don't really care for gun control, I like my guns, and enjoy target practicing with them some times, but I don't have a problem with, controlling who guns are sold to, there are car traders, dog traders, horse traders, gun traders, it goes on and on, you know what I mean, people that trade in these things, don't care who you are, if you have the cash they want for their dog, horse, car, or gun, you have bought it. I just threw the car, horse, dog, in to make a point, but the gun traders should have to go by the same rules as a gun store, to sell a person a firearm. there are folks that don't have walking around sense, unless owning a firearm..

not for gun control, but agree with control of who gets to buy a gun..

    Who gets to buy one?????

THATS GUN CONTROL. When you demand someone to buy a license to sell his own property, that's control. It's like being a little pregnant.

I understand what your saying, it really is gun control, controlling who buys the guns, but in this day and time, we have to have some rules put in place, that leave us with the right to have and keep our guns, but take that right from sick in the head folks, that know enough to shoot a gun, but get lost and can't find their way back home, when they go some place. checking folks background before they can buy a gun, isn't that bad. times have changed, we have to adjust..

    Lame excuse

Who judges "sick in the head"? Poor people are judged insane, the well to do are called eccentric.

it is a bad thing to judge anyone, the good Lord said judge not, he also said we would know them by the fruit they bear, I take that to mean, by their actions " things we see them do or hear them say " so a person that says they hear voices in their head, telling them to do bad things to another person, or they hear voices coming from a rock lying in the yard, telling them to kill someone, so when their background check, tells they are saying things like this, it would make it a little easier to judge them and say don't sell this person a gun. so if gun control is keeping people like this from buying a gun, then I'm for gun control.

    My Take

    1. Law-abiding citizens obey the law.
    2. Criminals are lawbreakers and thus by definition does not obey the law.
    3. Any gun control law will impose restrictions on the behavior of all law-abiding citizens.
    4. Therefore any gun control law will affect only law-abiding citizens and not criminals.

even old trickle down was for gun control, but there are those that think a smart move like taking these kind of guns off the market, would be taking away our gun rights.

Our forefathers did not arm the American people for the purpose of hunting, but rather to protect themselves from those who were doing the hunting, namely the tyrant King George. The second amendment is only to vouchsafe our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and to ensure all of the other rights given unto us by our Creator.

The wisdom of the framers of the Constitution once again is found consistent with the lessons of the Bible they used as their bedrock for civil law. The people’s individual protection should always be a primary concern of government “of the people”. In a righteous country, self-government reigns by the constraint of Christian morals. The civil government that desires such a monopoly of force (i.e. they are the only ones with guns) is a threat to the lives, liberty, and property of its citizens, for that government ceases to be “of and for the people.”

George Washington, our first president, said:

“From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.”
