    Saving a buck.....

this may help some of you guys to save a buck or two, I have been thinking of buying a set of new tires for my pickup, so I searched online and found a tire for 191.00 each. then I called a tire store here in town, and told them the brand and size of tire I was interested in and asked them for a price they could mount them on my truck for, the guy said he didn't have them in stock, but could have them in two days, and would call me in an hour with a price, he did call me back with a price of 942.00 I said thanks for giving me the quote, and I'll think on it. I went back online and looked at the tires again, 4 of the same tires for a total of 764.00 then I searched for the same tire on ebay, and found the same tire from the same company with free shipping and a 100.00 discount code for buying on ebay. so I bought the same 942 dollar set of tires for 664.00 shipped to my front door, and took them to walmart and had them mounted and balanced for 14.00 per tire, ended up with 4 new tires mounted and balanced for 723.00 a savings of 219.00 that is a couple good fishing trips.

I didn't say the name of the company I bought the tires from, I didn't think fishin.com would like that, but if any of you guys need new tires for your truck, I can send you a pm with the tire companys name. and their sale on ebay will save you 100.00 off the listing price with free shipping, tax free. click the image to get a better look at the tires.

I tried to do business with the guy, called him and asked for a price, only to have him try and insult my intelligence, by asking 219.00 more than I could get it done for, I think businesses and contractors are so use to doing business, with people that don't think for themselfs, that they just throw out a big price, with a big white smile, and folks just grab it and think they got a deal, when they just got ripped off.

I saved 219.00 and did nothing more than, place an order on ebay, waited 3 days for the tires, picked them up off my driveway, and layed them in the back of my truck, drove to walmart told the guy i had 4 new tires in my truck bed, and needed them mounted and ballanced, gave him my keys, about 40 minutes later they paged me, ready to go. payed 14 bucks per wheel. and any of the guys on here can do the same thing, if you are about to purchase a set of tires. just posted to help someone save a few bucks, it's so easy a cave man could do it...

So, how much do you feel is a "fair" price.......

Sorry bro, you cannot bitch about inequality in freakin everything, and then take money out of the VERY HAND trying to make a buck in our local economy.

    Kind of makes me sick.

And don't even get me started on all the hypocrisy of you actually using Wal-Mart and their cheep azz labor to get your tires mounted......

    Again......kind of makes me sick.

Now don't get me wrong, I use Wally World for a heck of a lot of stuff. I feel they provide a VALUE and I utilize the VALUE whenever possible, but I'm also not a leftist bitching about what they pay workers, or where they get product.

You say you are getting sick and or going to puke a lot. Maybe you need some medical attention?

I'm all for saving money. Competition or competitive pricing is what AMERICA and business is all about. If you price your product too high you lose sales. The world is competitive and I'm sorry that it makes George Sick too much. But that's how things are.

Online shopping is getting easier every day. I purchase a lot of items online as to millions of other Americans.

I also spend a lot of my money locally. I'll drive to another city to save money when buying a automobile. We drove to Il a few times to buy furniture a few years back.

And here is Evansville we drive across the "Money Saving Bridge" to Henderson, KY to buy gas at a cheaper price once in a while. I never get sick when I"m saving money.
