But this is why we have separation between church and state. People are free to practice their chosen religion but the state or any state representative should NOT be pushing their religious beliefs and ways upon others using their authority as a state official or government official. He could maybe have just asked her to attend his church service maybe or maybe that too would have been pushing it.

People should be free to chose how they want to worship God or not worship at all. The decision should be left to the individuals.

Being a policeman wasn't his chosen path. Now he can grow a beard, put on a pair of sandals, get a big stick, and wander around nevada and arizona. I'm sick and tired of "being saved, and born again". GOD created man in his image, man created God in his image. I'm also darn tired about this abortion issue, if the churches are so adamant about the unborn, then maybe THEY should start picking up part of social cost that comes with the aftermath. NO 13 YEAR OLD CHILD SHOULD BECOME A MOTHER, IF THE DEED WAS PERFORMED BY RAPE OR INCEST. God will judge us, not a minister or priest or a newspaper.

sounds to me like the officer, is a good judge of character, he new he had stopped a person, that needed to hear about Jesus Christ, when you know Jesus and try each day to be pleasing to him, you won't get mad when another person brings his name up and starts a conversation with you about him. the Bible tells us, when Jesus saves us, we are to be a light to the world, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.

This past Sunday Mrs. Tyme and I went to her cousin's home to celebrate her 70th birthday. We knew the hosts were "Christian" people and respected that and acted accordingly. However, Mrs.Tymes brother and the husband of the host cornered Mrs.Tyme and started preaching. I know they were trying to spread the word of Jesus but situations like that make me very uncomfortable.

the church where my sister is treasurer gives away over $2,000,000 a year to people that can't support themselves due to their bad decisions. they line up every monday morning all the way down the street to get their handout. don't bad mouth the churches for not doing anything. for most churches, social programs are their biggest budget items.

Every church I ever attended had programs for the needy, thats always been a fact of life. But when they encourage lobbying congress to restrict a persons choice, then the church becomes the judge, and all of them preach the same thing, God judges us.

Understand but it was wrong of him........Wrong job to be attempting to spread the gospel.
