The last 8 years have been pretty bad...........And this lifeless economy has guaranteed that I will have to work a few more years.
I'm sorry, but I don't find much good at all with Obama. He could have been a good president, and could have used his platforms to unite the country, instead we're more divided now than in the past 60 years......It is unfortunate.
Trump is a lot different than other political candidates. He shoots from the hip, says what he thinks, is blunt. He talks for hours, days, weeks, straight. He doesn't avoid the press at all, while Hillary crawls away and hides. Since Trump talks nonstop the press can grab onto every mistake. He talks ten times as much to the press as anyone on the planet and every bit of it ends up on CNN and all other liberal networks. When is Trump talking, he shoots his mouth off and doesn't even try to hide it. At least he talks. We never hear anything from Obama and Hillary except systematic spin and covert deniability.
The US Economy and the Stock market are much better under Obama than under Bush. And Gas prices are down too.
The are lower now than last year too. Many more people have health insurance now than before and to many that's very important.
One local hospital sued over 30,000 times to recover unpaid hospital bills. If you don't have health insurance you will end up having your wages garnished and may have to sell or return your car.

I'm not sure which would be more entertaining, a Trump presidency where he says the most off the wall things or a Clinton presidency ensconced in scandal and corruption.
Insurance rates are up 40%The US Economy and the Stock market are much better under Obama than under Bush. And Gas prices are down too.

The country is more divided
Islamic State is causing atrocities
Russia is buzzing our naval ships
China is trying to claim part of the ocean
The true jobless rate is about 19%
The IRS is targeting conservatives
Hillary is giving away secrets and money laundering
The EPA is harassing people
Insurance companies are leaving the exchanges
The administration is illegally propping up insurance companies
and more
You think the past 8 were better then the 8 before??? What are you smoking, health insurance costs companies more then ever before for there employees and passing that on to the employee, high deductible plans are the only ones you can get, people are paying more then ever for insurance. I know my meds are up more then 5 times the costs it used to be.
Yes my insurance has gone up, and my meds have also gone up. But insurance and medicines are PRIVATE concerns. And being divided, yes, but thats the T party agenda. I listened to NPR yesterday, about the Uof NC and their health system for poor hispanics, who are suffering from depression. Paid for by us tax payers. They need more interpreters they said. Many illegals are barely literate. WHY THE HELL ARE THEY TREATING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? When my grandparents came here there was no welfare, and they worked for low wages, but they didn't send the money back to Poland, they saved and bought a home, lost it in the depression, and scrimped and almost starved, and boght another home, Their sons fought in the war, the daughters worked in the defense plants, those were the immigrants america needed and they didn't sneak in, they went through Ellis island, and always registered with immigration service. For years we were citizens, not conservatives or liberals.

kygorski, agree with you, but there is more then just that, being a NAFTA casualty and pulled up my pants and survived it, we WERE an industrial nation, we get back to basics of this country we will all be better off, truth is neither party gets it, they are suppose to work for the citizens of the USA not others that come to rape the system.
Our declines in some industries began before nafta. Most of it came from BOTTOM LINE. yes the bean counters didn't reinvest in the industry they worked for. Then the rural vote [ agra business] ended some of it. I know you never heard of the calumet region, it was in chicago, and nortern indiana. There were 8 steel mills there, employing thousands. Then the "farm vote" allowed european steel producers to dump steel into america, so that they could export farm commodities. There were5 oil refineries there also. that area was the hub of the american rail road industry. Almost all of that was gone before NAFTA. Remember "junk bonds" a wall street scheme that let thieves buy companies, raid the pension plans, and then close the company. the employees in most cases lost most of their pension benefits, because ERISA couldn't fund them. I guess what I'm saying is that country has lost it's financial morality, people don't matter, the bottom line does. And the bottom line now hides it's assets over seas.Yes,America is still great, but it was better then. But things change, sometimes for better sometimes for worse. We adapt.
