    Smile 8 more wins!

Earlier this year on this site, I made the comment, next year is here! The cubbies are still alive, but I won't watch any more games! I turned the game off last night in the 4 th inning. And guess what?Maybe there was a curse on wrigley field, ME. My first game at the park was in 1946, the last time the cubs were in the series was 1945.

    Smile maybe, maybe not

beleve it or not, wrigley ville is a residential district. It won't be the residents. Now a few miles to the SW there may be some excess jubilationBut the a vast number of cub fans are white. But who knows, no one can tell what happens when the "spirits" take over the evening. I hope it doesn't happen. My aunt was buried wearing a cub jersey. At her daughters wedding, everyone crowded into the lounge to watch the cubs in a play off. Believe it not, the cubbies were almost americas team. WGN broadcast every game for many years, all over the ountry, they were a cable station.WGN radio also reached half of america. When there were several satelites I could watch west coast and east coast baseball. WOR TV was also broadcast cross america, turner also broadcast braves games many times.I needed to almost swear to my daughter[kidding] that I didn't do darned yankees[permissible title]. At least I don't remember signing anything.

    Smile 4 more

No geo, they didn't.Almost all cubs fans are normal basball loving folks.BUT not all chicagans are cub fans For years I always said anyone living south of US 30 was probably a mouth breathing in bred red neck. Well 20+ years ago I moved south, and found that wasn't entirely true.
