    Lake Guntersville trip

Can anyone recommend a place to stay for a long weekend bass fishing trip? Has anyone been down there recently? I have never seen the lake and any help on lodging or the best part of the lake would be appreciated.

Did they have boat trailer parking/electrical hookups when you were there?

yes they have pull thru parking, you don't have to unhook your boat. Power right next to the boats

Parking is behind the motel. There is several ramps close by. Take look at the map to find them.

Got back yesterday and really enjoyed my trip down there. The frog bite is off in a bad way. Locals blamed the weather, fishing pressure or weed spraying in some of the bays. Most of my fish were on rattletraps around grass in 5-6ft of water. The biggest fish came from jigs around the bridges.

We stayed at the fishersman retreat cabin in Kudzu Cove down by Guntersville and that was a nice secluded place. The lake is pretty that's for sure and I loved fishing the weeds. I'll go back to try it again.
