just got back from 3
days on cumberland. points with big broke rock, bigger fish 12 / 15 feet smaller fish from bank to that depth. best bite at night. on same type bank. green punkin bitsy flip with reaction innovations smallie beaver, dragged on the bottom, hopping did not work at all had to keep it on the bottom. green punkin fluke on a shakeyhead. dragged on bottom. (very very slow ) only 1 largemouth, got some really good ky's 2 and 3 lbs. in day, biggest smallmouth 4lbs, several 2.5 / 3lbs. all after dark. pitching bush's was a waist of time during the day but on after dark. never caught a good one on top. (seen one big school of stripers busting the top for a couple minutes ) was fishing mouth of wolf and caney creek right at mouth on main lake right side and next point on right as it turns to wolf creek was best spot. all of our big ones came on this stretch of water. same banks produced but only small fish. hope this can help someone.
