Yes, Thursday was a big turn around. Same area outside Jamestown near Low Gap, and in the mouth of Lilly, then Wolfe, and finally out over the flats halfway between Jamestown and Wolfe.
Best thing was as the surface feeding of each group started to slow and the fish scattered, we were getting hits on shiners on freelines 70 foot behind the boat, and down rods at 20 an 40 feet. Big turn around from Wednesday night.
And ya know Monday and Tuesday night when they were surfacing, and again Thursday night, seemed like boats were staying spread out, not big motoring in, our crowding. I guess that was because the pods of fish surfacing were so spread out and coming up at some many different locations that it seemed like each guy just had his own area.
BTW to all, State Dock had some super shiners for Striper fishing Thursday.
