    GOP get-r-done

    I think Obamacare has helped a lot of folks, but I've heard the republicans cry for years about repealing Obamacare, knowing very well that they don't have any better health care plan. so now that they have the chance to repeal it, I sure do hope they repeal it and stop all the crying. and see what a real mess they make of the healthcare without Obamacare. so GOP { Get-r-done...}

    The Affordable Healthcare Act aka Obamacare has helped a lot of folks, especially the ones that are deadbeats or the ones that thinks our country owes them for something. For the average working person it has become anything but Affordable Healthcare. Before AHA we already had a decent healthcare system in place, it's called Medicare. All ya got to do is expand to the folks that really need it. In reality Obamacare is just another form of wealth redistribution designed by democrats to keep the poor folks voting for them. Poor folks has been voting for democrats for 50 years and they're still poor. To me that's proof enough that wealth redistribution (a form of socialism) doesn't work here. As far as the deadbeats and the ones that feel entitled to free health care just because they think they're special, they could quit protesting and use their time for doing something constructive instead, like working for a living.

    I guess helping a lot if folks is cherry picking the reality of that law. What about the millions it hurt? Does that cancel out the free healthcare it gave away at the expense of people like us working class? Our rates went up almost 100% for the exact plan we had. Our eventual plan may have gone up less (75%) but the plan isn't as good.
    I also find it interesting that anyone can call it a healthcare act.....seems more like a insurance act to take from people who work hard and give alot of it to people who don't. Healthcare didn't get more affordable to me. Remember me? One of the Deplorable, racist, tax paying, gun toting working Americans?? I hope Trump remembers me and the millions who voted for him. He isn't going to make things 50% better or even 25% better but beating that crooked Hillary made it better already.

    Obama stuck it to us all and I personally don't see it getting a lot better. He created so much red tape that it will take years to get to a plan that we actually can use without the crooks (politicians) keeping their fingers in the pie. That was my fear all along but many didn't care that democrats were sneaking in a Trojan Horse in the middle of the night.

    Why does it work THERE?

    It was and is a dumb plan. And yes my rates went up like everyones, and my financial status has not changed much for the past 5 years. It's corporate greed. I'm not for doing away with ALL government regulation. When a major drug company makes a medication it should be able to re-coup the cost of testing and producing, thats understood. But much of this research is funded by tax payers at public universities. Those grants to schools for research are in a lot of cases tax write offs. Why can't I get my drugs fro canada? Why can't I order drugs that are already on the market in other countrys? It's called special interests lobbys. And if you think I'm wrong, then you've been living in a cave somewhere. Our elected politicians DO NOT work for us.They wait at the door for the guy with the expensive suit carrying the money bag. As far as I'm concerned, if you don't have insurance, then die in the hospital parking lot. Think about this, the epi pen has been around for years, but recently the cost has more than tripled in price, and much of it is made in low wage country's.When ethics disapear, the poor don't gain, and the haves prosper. Olegachys take care of themselves first.

    Agreed that epi pen was off the charts crazy. I agree politicians do not work for us, it's all about them getting something for themselves at the same time they look like they are working for us. I'm fed up with all of them and but am giving Trump some rope and see how he does because I hope he makes some headway in a few areas like illegal immigrants, healthcare costs/plans and the peaceful Muslim people who get mad at YouTube videos and kill people. 😳🙄

    I to hope Trump can do some good for our country, but I can't see him getting anything done, because of the click that has been in Washington for two lifetimes, there are more against Trump than was against Obama, he can only do what congress lets him do. and they aren't going to let him pass anything , that will mess with their kickback pay...

    I use the epi pen...........so I understand. I paid 1600 this year for 2 kids. CRAZY.

    BUT, that was caused not by corporate greed as much as government ********. Gubment created the problem by denying the 2 competitors patents..........When that happened, a company took a billion dollar risk on the epi pen process, and mass marketed it.

    THEN they convinced the gubment to include an epi pen as a federally mandated safety device in every school across america. THAT caused a massive run on the market, and supply and demand took off.

    There was NO supply, so if you wanted one, you were going to pay dearly.

    Say what you want, but the gubment is to blame just as much as the CEO of the company that quadrupled the rates of the product......you CHARGE what you can for the product.

    It is a **** shame gubment created the issue........

    here's how it was denied

    Lobbying. Most congressmen don't even know what an epi pen.Till the suit guy shows up with the cash and knowledge. There is VERY little altruism in politics. The motto is "god helps those who help themselves". Want to get the wax out of voters ears? Just promise lower taxes, less gubment, and all the guns you can fit into what ever space you have. Unfortunatly, WAX was all they had in their heads.

    OH they will go

    If the country is heading to a fascist state, as some believe, an armed citizen is a problem. In an oligarcy the same may apply. In the later the privledged can have arsenals.I don't give a ratza-- either way. Mine were recorded when bought through gander mntn. Some were not.My hunting licencenses were a matter of public record.Someone knows where many of them are. Permits tell them, and permits for open carry are not required in Ky[yet]. Looks like that chinese curse " may you live in interesting times"is starting to become a bit clearer.
