    New "silk road"

China has plans to spend tons of money to build a new trade route linking asia to europe. This will not take place over night, china is already the largest exporter in the world, and has eyes on being the trade giant on the planet,I wonder if the fact that they have not had a major or minor war in over 60 years has anything to do with it? This is more "fake news" from NPR.Now i'm starting to put some credence to that term"**** clever those chinese".

Wars have nothing to do with it.

    They use child labor
    They use prison labor
They flood the market with cheap ass ****.
    They artificially inflate their yuan.

WE no longer reuse anything. We buy another one.
WE no longer value hard work. We expect a gubment check.
We no longer strive for GREATNESS, we settle for mediocre.
WE no longer win at anything........we give trophies for losing.

WE are getting everything we deserve.......China is kicking our ass at the game we once played.

    Who's WE

Americans can still work, and produce, but the means are going over seas. While we don't condone child labor, it occurs, especially amoung the undocumented labor market.Prison labor? we already have prisons run by corporate concerns, where prisoners are paid about 15 cents per hour, and there is a major push to have more of these private prisons available. Prisoner work crews have always been part of system, the change, they now are contracted out at times to do work which welfare workers could perform, but that would mean accoutability to the users. Want to see "america first". let corporate america fight some of the battles that they provide inflated equiptment for.American workers didn't leave america, america companys did. We live on listening to BS, cable news isn't news anymore, its a super market for all kinds of products, that we pay to watch being marketed. Were fed the BS that the free markets are a boon to america, yet some of those "trading partners" impose tariffs on stuff that we do produce. While we spend billions on keeping american troops in countrys that don't want us there, the chinese are sending some of their best students to MIT while we send some of our best to crap holes like iraq and afganistan.Guess what we no longer have the means to beat our swords into plow shears, we'd need to import them.

American's are the hardest working people in the world. We strive for greatness and still give the biggest trophy to the winner. We work as hard as anyone in the world. And I repair anything that I'm able to repair. I don't throw crap away and buy a new one. I use duct tape, gorilla glue or solder and repair what I can. Not everything is made to be repaired. But that's the same in China. USA and China are not that different. They do use child labor and I doubt that they have an EPA type agency. But then again after Trump got elected our EPA agency is about as bad as the one in China. IE Non existent these days. Thanks to Trump American Companies will again be able to Pollute the Air, land and Water without any one to stop them. I predict that the cancer rates will sky rocket even more than they are now. Another thing that we will have in common with China is that both of us are being polluted to death.

    two sides on most coins

Geo, my silk road post pointed outnthat we are not the great super power we once were.. It wasn't meant to be political, just a statement of what eventually happens to ALL great nations. the sun never set on the british empire, alexander concured the world as they knew it. Pax Romana lasted a long time. Ebventually all those nations started looking in at themselves, were in that process now. What history also shows us, you don't come back to greatness. This is still my best country, will always be, is it perfect, Hell no, never was. George Orwell long ago wrote about spheres of influence, and like the brother watching us, we are almost on the sphere track.

I actually liked your post.......don't necessarily agree., but liked it.

It was apolitical, the comments from the LEFTISTS on the site made it political......

    I just pointed it out.

    Orwell nailed it, too........

    Geo Said:

"WE no longer value hard work. We expect a gubment check. "

And I call BS on this statement and the others he said. He thinks this is not political but I'm here to tell you that this is what the very political Ronald Reagan was often heard to say and it's been repeated over and over again by the GOP. Hate the US Government as they are the buggy man. I say that's BS too.

STFU? NEVER! I'll speak my mind when ever I want to! The Right Wingers would love to have their say with no response back. But that's not going to happen.

China's expanding and it was Nixon that got them started. He opened the trade with China and it's been one sided ever since. Yes they have used child labor and women to make their products. We use to see everything was made in Taiwan or Japan and now it's all made in China. And now China is trading with Europe more and more.

Tell me how Trump (The Government now) is going to make America Great Again by taking away health care from 23 million Americans?
