Yes, some fish have moved into the creeks now. I don't know if they will stay. Water quality is much better there right now. Some fish have moved up too. Saw two smalll jumps but you can get that on any given day if the conditions are right. They looked like the really young fish from the three heads I saw.

Thanks Duane. Better news. I have been getting tired of looking at the bottom in the Dam area. Time for a change of scenery.

Planned to fish several days but only got out Saturday morning due to family obligations that came up.
Pulled shiners in greasy and pumpkin for about half the day. Had only 1 pull down and several baits bit in half just below the head. Water temp was 76 and we did not see any jumps. Marked a lot of bait in the mouth of greasy all in the 30 ft range. Talked to several guys who all seemed to struggle this past weekend. I will be back fishing this Friday and saturday and will post any results good or bad.

    Good luck

Stripernut1, that was not me at the fuel pier Sunday. Hope to see you on the water! Have you been fishing shiners or catching bait? I’m hoping to net some this weekend.

This time of year main lake is where we focus but mouths of creeks and in bigger creeks we have also caught them. We have caught them everywhere but main lake area primarily for us.

Today was tough for us. The plan was to pull bait but we ran into battery issues and probably charger issues. Been running up the street to try and correct but still dealing with it for the trolling motor. Anyway beautiful day with alittle wind early but we did not catch anything. Only got about 3 hrs pulling bait and did scout for jumps. Did not see anything significant. Lots of singles but really nothing to really to report. Unfortunately our fishing time was limited. Tomorrow will be a better day!!!

thanks for the report, I really need the reports because im new to striper fishing and Cumberland so I rely on these reports. Definitely don't want to make a 2 hr drive just to get nothing.

Fished late afternoon near Rowena ramp, saw a few small scattered jumps mainly spots. Caught several nice fish after dark closer to the dam. Water temp 72. Fish came from 40-60.
