Folks, the most important case filed by the Trump Administration was not even heard. Nope the court kicked it until after the inauguration. THEY did that for a couple reasons.
1). They don't want to be deciding the presidential election.......again.
2). There was not enough time to evaluate the caselaw.
So, that being said......
IF Pennsylvania gets heard, and it IS determined by the supreme court that Pennsylvania violated federal election law, and in turn violated the constitution, then it also means that Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and potentially Arizona all violated federal election law, and the constitution.
Yep......the single most important case............out of all the 100's of ******** cases the inept republican lawyers filed ........thos one has not even been heard.
Now, if they hear it, which I hope to GOD they don't..........and if the rule for Trump, which I also hope to GOD does not happen........WHAT happens then?
I think there are three possibilities.
1). I think the supreme court , with a positive ruling for trump could invalidate the electors, sending it NOT to the states, but to the House, in which the house will vote 1 vote per state, and Trump could legitimately win. OR some states , TIRED of Trump would switch and vote biden.........I would be completely fine with this. THIS IS A CONSTITUTIONAL process.
2). The supreme court with a positive ruling could say yea, it was unconstitutional, now what? In that case, I think the house would have to take it up, and I guarantee you Pelosi would not, and that would lead to outright war, IMHO.
3). The supreme court could rule that the STATES have the power to legislate, change or enhance voter laws however they see fit. That is not a "clean" interpretation of the constitution, but it would be the best interpretation if you ask me.......
No matter, people are pissed.

The states in question are all republican held states. They don't all have veto proof majorities and governorships, but in some critical cases they do.Originally Posted by TimE

The US Constitution leaves it up to the States to certify the election results. That has happened and it can't be changed now.
The courts have all ruled against the Trump admin and his lawyers who support him. Give it up kiddos. Trump's goose has been cooked and he needs a new place to live. But the State of New York will have a bed for him soon enough.

YOU had better hope for America that the either don't hear it , or rule for the states, that STATES have the right to unilaterally change the dates of elections, or unilaterally have the right to change how votes are collected and tabulated.
IF they don't, we are in for a pretty bad ride, IMHO.
OH, an the CONSTITUTION as you stated outlines exactly how stuff happens. It also states very clearly that the Legislative branch determines that stuff, not governors, not attorney generals, not state supreme courts.

The revolution will be overcome on Jan 20th when Biden is sworn in. Put down your Trump flags and surrender to the truth kids. Trump's family are packing up and getting ready to move out of the West Wing of the White House. But that area will have to be fumigated before Biden and his family can move in.
The National Guard is in place in Washington DC and any insurrectionist will be shot dead if they try to repeat what they all did on Jan 6th, 2021. We will have to have a lot of coffins for the extreme right-wing nut jobs that try to take over DC again.

If anyone needs to be scolded it's Trump and his QAnon people who invaded the Capitol Building. Trump and his cronies spread lies about rigged elections long before the election even was held. Trump is the biggest liar in the entire world. Trump needs to be locked up and have a straight jacket put on him so he won't hurt himself. Trump claims that he lost the election yet he said nothing about the same election where GOP members won their races using the same ballots and ballot counting system. Unbelievable.

First off you are dead wrong. Biden is going to be our President tomorrow and Trump is leaving the White House. The courts all had the opportunity to take on over 60 cases that Trump and his lawyers and allies filed in various courts throughout the country including the US Supreme Court. Why in the H would I follow anything you have to say when most all of it comes from lying right-wing web sites? You would have to be a fool to think that people listen to that BS.
