Good ole days

When gas cost was down:
Sometimes we cancelled a fishing trip so we could afford the boat payment.

But now: I cancel fishing trips to save money to pay my truck gas bill.
By the time I fill the truck ain’t nothing left for the boat.
In the good ole days I could afford the truck and the boat, and the gas if I was careful with trips.

Now, to keep the truck running, I have to avoid boat costs, boat gas, and trips.

But other than that the economy is doing fine,
