    What does stochastic terrorism mean?

Stochastic terrorism is “the public demonization of a person or group resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted.”

The word stochastic, in everyday language, means “random.” Terrorism, here, refers to “violence motivated by ideology.”
Here’s the idea behind stochastic terrorism:
A leader or organization uses rhetoric in the mass media against a group of people.
This rhetoric, while hostile or hateful, doesn’t explicitly tell someone to carry out an act of violence against that group, but a person, feeling threatened, is motivated to do so as a result.
That individual act of political violence can’t be predicted as such, but that violence will happen is much more probable thanks to the rhetoric.
This rhetoric is thus called stochastic terrorism because of the way it incites random violence.
    With this concept in mind:
    1. Did Dem constant accusations about Trump and attempts to demonize thru rhetoric, actually cause the Jan 6 Capitol riot/insurrection?
    2. Being fair, is this why the Dems thought Trump incited it?
    3. Is this concept in play as the root cause of the violence directed at law enforcement including Police and FBI? Sources there would have been racial injustice accusations, and more recently searches.
    4. Was this the cause of the race protests and riots, fanned by the media to get more sensationalist reviews and ratings?

So isn't it time we in our society act and speak with the same or greater level of clarity, resisting supposition and instead conveying actual facts, and agreeing or disagreeing with same levels of energy, but with a bit more civility and professionalism? Wow, does this mean decorum, accuracy, civility, and professionalism might be a way forward?

8 million friends? Your Facebook page must be a mess. 🤪🤪
There was about 160 million total votes in 2020. So 8 million is a drop in the bucket. But that’s okay, I respect minority groups like yours.

My little Friends are the voters who voted for Biden in 2020. 80 million strong! They will also vote for the Dems these midterms and send Mitch Packing out of the US Senate. Mitch already said that he won't stay around if he is not majority leader. Bye Bye Mitch.

Most all my friends are too smart to sign up for Facebook. Only really stupid people use Facebook. Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize you were on Facebook.

Oh I reserve the opportunity for intelligent conversation to this forum and avoid Facebook. Do you mean I may have that wrong? Do you mean what you do here is ultimately more productive and constructive than the exceptional benefit all in Facebook might realize thru your highly informative, well thought out, concise, and non emotional dissertations?

Well alrighty then, I bow to the exception example set and vow to not make an attempt to attain your lofty heights as I realize anything I tried to do would surely fall short of your considerable contributions to increase wisdom and intellect.
