2 dummys on the river today

Well they always said I was crazy, but found a crazier person then me I guess to reide along. Kyhorsefly and I went to the river to fish the discharges,,,well guess how my luck runs. NO warmmwater coming out in 2 of my discharges,,,hmmm wonder whats up with that,the water temp was 34 ,but back to the story. I was about to go home but desided to try out a new jointed shadrap,,just to see how it worked and on about my 4th cast,,,bammm a nice fat 8lb striper hit it,,,,welll now!,,,so after pic`s i threw her back and when back to playing with the shadrap. So about 10 cast later,,,bammmmm I got ahold of something,,,then it rolled,,man what a striper,,,my all time biggest oure striper ever for the river,,,i`m guessing a good 15lber or more,,I got a pic of it too,,,but thats all we caught but had a good chilly time...see it does pay to be crazy very once in awhile...

Sounds good to me atleast you got your line stretched wtg man. Nice fish to. Next week looks good for us fisherman tho. We will all get out i guess.

Wish my back would let me fish when it's cold outside...... Really ***** owning a boat and you can only use it when it's warm.....

There will be two more dummies on the river tomorrow. Plan on going for some sauger at Cannelton. It's good to know that if the sauger bite is slow maybe we can catch a striper or two. Also plan to use the new Gizz-4. Will let you'all know how we did.

Wish I had been able to go today, but had to travel today. Saw some boats on Ky Lake this morning. Sounds like you had a very good day. Good Job on the strippers I always enjoy catching them.

MsgMills did you try the new thermal wraps for back aches. They are like hand warmers but wrap around midsection last about 6-8 hours.

Had a good time Saturday, really enjoyed being out there fishin'. Wish I didn't get skunked, but heck, can't catch 'em everytime! Still though, it was good to get out on the water & throw some lures, even if it was a little cold. Can't wait to get out there again!

Hum, this thats why you didn't get my boat done sunday like you said you would..Or call me at noon like you said you would, and never did..all you had to say dude is I went fishin, and not lied about it.

What a day on the river! Forgot to check my oil reservoir, Low light came on. The wind blew about 25-30 mph. Never got a bite. And worst of all I lost my big anchor that I've had for about 20-25 yrs. Other than that we had a good day. All days can't be successful!!! Better luck next time.

well guess what buddy,,,i went fishin today too,,,and your boat is DONE. Did ever better today. But your fender is painted and cleared. Man work 14 days in a roll doing yours and jeffs worked late everynight and can`t even take 4 hours off,,,I just don`t know what to think about all you all. See kyhorsefky I told ya.
