A friend and I fished Green this past Friday. He managed to catch one of the best Largemouths I've ever personally seen. Weighed in at 8lbs 1oz.

Overall, it was a good day of fishing. Along with the big one above, we had a couple other smaller Bass, and about 5 Whites. Good day of fishing!

Nice Pig........
Did he release her or is she going on the wall.....Would be hard to believe he would not put such a hog on the wall....Once in a lifetime catch probably, would be hard to catch one bigger than her here in KY......
Question from a greenhorn: Couldn't you do both? Can't you get quick pics and measurements, release the fish, and send them to a taxidermist and get something for the wall? Just wondering...
Well, we didn't have any soft measuring tapes anywhere nearby, so the taxidermy job is going to be done the old fashioned way. He's dropping it off at the taxidermist Wednesday morning.![]()
What part of Green did she come off of.
Thats definetly a hawg! I just now got my pictures of the one i caught last april on my computer. I thought they had been deleted but they were on another card. I caught this behemoth At Woodscreek. April 27th at about 3 am. That is definetly the best night of bass fishing i have ever had in my life. I had 14 keepers that night. I had the one you see in the picture which was a 10lb 1oz, a 6-3, a 5-11 and a 4-9. I also had a 19' football spot(I didnt get to weigh it because my batteries ran dead). DCBASSER will agree, there are some hawgs in ole woodscreek.
