    Dale Hollow in the afternoon

Going to Dale in the afternoon, tommorrow and I was wondering if there is going to be any thing worth going for as far as fishing every thing here speaks of night time but what about afternoons and early evening. we have never really fished Dale before and will be on the wolf creek area across from Skull bluff around raburn point. type of fish is not important the wife would love a mess of good sized blue gill. For me any thing that will bend my pole and stretch my line will work fine, got any suggestions folks?

Green plastic craws with orange pinchers(gene larue) on a jig head, 1/4 black hair jigs with twin tail trailer, tubes, and spooks early and late in the day. Black or chrome are your better bet on the spooks for the hollow. I perfer the black ones, the smallies can't stand them in low light conditions (early and late) and will knock the fire out of them. Good luck...283

We went to Dale Yesterday, and came home with a pretty good mess of bluegill and redear. Used night crawler pieces with just a splitshot sinker casting toward the bank and bring it back to you stop and go.

Glad your trip was filled with lots of fish for you to eat. Sounds like you had a nice time out on the water and relaxing.

We did catch a lot of fish, but only kept about 20. It was a nice day to be out except for the t-storm around 2:30. What made it a great trip was the boat traffic was what I would call minimal for Dale this time of year.

maybe the $3 dollars a gallon of gas is keeping them off the H2O --NOT ---they'll just put it on the credit card.........anyway, good to hear the ocean cruisers and jet skis didn't run you off...tight lines.....
