I got a report yesterday and it was nothing to brag about, fishing has been very slow.
I would probably punch a heavy jig (1/2oz +) or well weighted tube/creature bait thru the grass mats off the beach. My .02 worth

I am camping out at Kincaid Lake this week and I need a Bass Fishing report if you have one. I have a boat and am ready to go. I just need some insight on what the bass are doing right now besides being lazy and not hungry. Any info would be appreciated. Catch and release only! I will post my reports at the end of the week.
Thanks,
Bassky

Stoner,
Thanks for the info. I fished this area a couple of weeks ago with topwater stuff and a trickworm. Had a couple of hits but they just wouldn't take it well. I will report back on Monday.

I fished Friday am, caught 1 keeper on white buzzbait around 15" at 8:30am. Right at daybreak I was tossing a PopR and a biggun nailed it and started digging for deep water, got it up to the side of the boat and it rolled, looked to be 5-6 lbs, dove under the boat diggin deep again, got er back up to the boat again and she dove back down and the hooks came loose. I can't believe the hooks didn't hold her, I put triple grip mustad hooks on it and very seldom do these hooks not hold. Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Caught a few crappie throwing small 1/16oz roadrunners chartreuse curlytail grubs. No size, maybe 3 would keep.
