    Cooper Power Plant on Cumberland

Does anybody know if you can fish the power plants discharge near Burnside by boat? Didn't know if boats could get in there the same as past years. I know it's no wake.

Also, any fish been in there besides shad lately? Thanks.

The discharge is right below the power plant a few feet below the surface.

Even if it "JUST EMPTIED " into the cumberland river that would qualify as a discharge. Right now it is out of the water about a foot but because it is 3 ft in diameter it is still going into the water

Yes, you can fish it and there are much more than shad crappie and striper as well walleye.

Re: Cooper Power Plant on Cumberland

How are they cathcing the walleyes in the discharge area? I mark a ton of fish here but the bite seems to be hard because there is so much bait fish here. I have fished for walleyes with crank baits and erie deries tiped with shiner but no luck only stripers. Any feedback on how to catch walleyes in this general area would be great day or night fishing I do both.
