Great way to start the new year. January 2nd and I'm inside by the fire thinking about maybe I should have gone out after those brown fish. But with temps in the teens and winds of 15 -25 mph, I guess I'm just a puss. But, I just know some of you SM guys are out there putting the rest of us to shame. HOPE you had a great day and meet up with the big-un. Give is a report! Where did you fish and even if you did't get the big-un, I'm sure it was a great day on the water??? Now, have a cup of java (or beverage of you choice), de-ice and warm up.
Good Fishing to all,
Gary

My 7 year old FNF ADDICTED son woke me up this morning, completly dresseed in cold weather gear at 7 am, lol. Took me at least 20 min to convince him that fish just don't like to be distrubed when its this cold, lol.
They would've been killing the top water Snow Snake today. Could'nt get away from work. Shucks...
Son I was thinking the helicopter lure would be killin' them son.
7 years old and hooked on fishing and wanting to go at 10 degrees. Good job Don, keep up the good work.
Would that be a Top Water Alabama Snow Snake or was it one of those Minnesota Snow Snakes? Man, I hear those are deadly this time of year. Oh, and those helicopter lures...Son!!!
Man you all kill me sometimes...Humor is good!
