I like fishing lake barkley. It was just starting to really turn on until we got all the rain last week. They are really pulling the water through the dam so maybe all that trash and floaters will settle down over the next few days, and the water will clean up some. When the lake stablizes some Barkley will be HOT!!!!!!!

Come on now Mickey, don't tell everybody. 5 more days and Hens and I will be there for 7 glorious DAYS AND NIGHTS of Barkley action. Anyone know the record for number of hours spent ON THE WATER fishing in 7 days for Hens and I will be looking to break it? Nothing like living on Hot Peanuts, Beef Jerky, Turkey Sandwiches and Peanut M&M's for a week. I am guessing putting in around 6am taking out around 8pm, 14 hours times 7 days is 98 hours on the water, which only leaves 70 hours for the week to sleep/shower/charge batteries/gas up, should be plenty.

Yea Elnut, Im just glad the lakes are on their way to clearing up some. Man you wouldnt believe the trash in Barkley. I saw a picnic table in the middle of Ky lake yesterday. It had about 30 Gulls sitting on it just floating down the middle of the lake.. CRAZY!!!! Even the Gulls are laid back when they are on Ky lake...LOL
