    Gw,
You know the crowds will die off some since the Holiday is over and I'm ready to hit it myself! Any size at all? Good to hear you got out and caught some fish other than those at Cedar Creek!

    Wormin,
What did she say? This has been an issue for awhile now. Give us the scoop...

Beaver is still legally a 10 hp max. lake . Weather or not you get written up by the warden. I know at least a coulple of boats running bigger motors on plane were. The fine if i'm not wrong is like $275.00. Also know that a different warden will be over this area soon so who knows then? Living at Beaver i see no problem with idleing the bigger motors, I have a john boat with 9.9 here and a bass boat i take elsewhere. Just remember a few acting like fools can ruin it for all.

In the new Ky fishin guide it says on Beaver you can run larger than ten hp. at a reasonable rate of speed, as long as you don't disturb anyone. Dont have my book here or I would quote what it says. I hope a few nuts don't ruin it.

Monster post about this very topic started by me for my Ky Fishin guide said the same thing. Frankfort said the Ky Fishin Guide was just a scaled down version so idiots like me could understand but their website where the "Official" regs are listed (since this is where Frankfort said I should get them) says the same thing. The wording in the book is Vague to say the least. "Officially" the lake is 10hp max but "Officially" the book and website says otherwise. I guess the clincher is the sign that is posted at the ramp reads clearly 10hp max and does not have that part about 10hp or speed as to such blah blah blah blah. Funny thing is that I was given 2 different game wardens personal cells to call and ask as well. The first number I left a message and the 2nd number the guy answered. The 2nd guy said it was 10hp max but he felt that Beaver needed to be idle speed only no matter what size motor plus he had never given anyone a ticket for using their big motor to launch or load the boat, no matter the size. The 1st guy called me back a couple of hours later and I asked the same question. This guy said 10hp max and that I could not use my motor to launch or load my boat, I had to pull it on the trailer with a rope. Funny how the very 2 guys in charge of enforcing the rules on Beaver Lake don't even have the same opinion and when you throw in the "Vague" wording in the regs, I guess a canoe and paddle or belly float boat are the only true "Official" ways to navigate the water in Anderson County.

I guess you sore mouthed all of my pets, but atleast you left that 1 keeper in there. I'll try to find her Saturday. Glad you guy's had a good time in the Moss. It's a blast watching them **** that thing through the grass or attack it like Shamoo the killer whale.
Hp=10 hp or less as posted by sign. "Say's the Game Warden" to me.
