I haven't been able to keep up with this story totally, but I think it is going to set a standard for hoe the No retret law Kentucky put in is going to be handled. The no retret laws mainly means that you can defend yourself if you feel you are in danger from a person who has a weapon. You no longer have to wait for that person to actually use that weapon on you. If she shot a man who had no weapon, then the concealed carry, and No Retreat Law should not be brought into this case and pounded with negetivity. This should go down as murder or assault. If the man did not have a weapon, and was only verbally assaulting her, then her only coarse of action should have been to drive away. Please correct me if I don't have all the facts. Have only been able to keep up with what I have been able to read in the paper.
