They must not be fisherman or the boss is a donkey's behind. I would like to say it is the later.

Launched at the Clarksville ramp this morning as the New Albany ramp was too shallow.
When it came time to recover, there were three vehicles in the turn around area on the ramp. At least ten guys were leisurely loading up the boat, taking their sweet time doing it. They were on the ramp for a minimum of 45 minutes.
Did I get mad or correct them in their lack of etiquette? Heck no. It was the State Police doing a practice run or training or whatever. No emergency. Just a lack of common sense and don't give a hoot to others because WE ARE THE POLICE.
My tax dollars at work.
OK don't slam me, I know they have to train and practice but do they have to take up the whole ramp??

Regardless who you are, courtesy and etiquete should be in order. All could have been loaded into one boat or vehicle and then put away in the parking lot.
But did you catch any fish is the real question??? Enquiring minds want to know....
If I'm ever in an emergency situation on the river, please call New Albany Fire and Rescue or maybe even Clarksville Rescue.
These guys took forever to don their wetsuits, etc. I mean, geez guys, I'm glad you're practicing because it looked like you needed all the practice you can get. I didn't wait to see how long it took them to launch the boat.
My dead bloated body would be in Evansville before these Keystone Kops got their act together.
A little courtesy goes a long way. I'm sure that they are clueless and are not big boaters, with that said no excuses no matter who you are. Sad they give us all a black eye. Ryan.
Ryan,
That looks like a HOSS of a bass how big is that?
It was almost 22.25". I caught it at Dale a few weeks ago on a hair jig that I tied. Unfortunately my scales were not working. We figured it was between 6-6.5lbs. I would like to do a replica mount but I don't know if it can be done with out a correct weight. I did not want to keep her just to mount.
