Don:
The Evansville Courier did a story on this area not too long ago.
It's NE of Lynville, IN
I have not been there but Channel 7 did a story on this area last night. Or was that Friday night? Anyway it's open to offroad 4 wheelers now.
I heard that there are no launch ramps and that to fish these lakes you have to walk it. But that was before it offically opened to the public.
One the Channel 7 news cast they showed a couple of guys riding thier offroad four wheelers along what appeared to be a gravel road. They said that the trails are marked with signs.
I'll have to get my maps out to figure out exactly where it's located for sure.
I would bet that bassmanic or one of the other guys that fished that area this past year will know which roads to take to get there.
Highway 68 seems to come to mind but I an just going on my rough memory with that number.
Not sure your bass boat will work up there. But if you want to go hunting up there it may be a good spot to hunt.
You can probably call Sugar Ridge and ask someone up there.
Here is the Sugar Ridge Office Phone Number 812 789-2724
