Man this is the best time of the year as far as sporting events go....Football, basketball just around the corner and Hockey getting ready to kick off...... Won't be no more boring weekends like through the summer months....

By the way...Uconn pulled the upset with their backup QB... Don't know how bad the ankle sprain is for Cantwell...Hope it's not to serious, but it sure did hamper his ability at the end of the game last night.....

Waiting for the slaughter to occur for Indiana today against Michigan State.....But you just never know, it could be a close game...anything can happen....

HeHe, Ive been saying the tide was back since the opening quarter of the Clemson game!

With Auburn and Tennessee having trouble this year, our only tough game left is LSU. What a homecoming it would be for Saban if he can pull a W there!

WOW, bama at #2 in the AP polls and sportsline.com has predicted them to meet Oklahmoa in the National Championship game. Its still EARLY and the game at LSU is going to be HUGE. What an exciting time to be a tide fan!!

The Tide hammered the Dawgs and it surprised me. I watched it anyway and at times it hurt.

Yep, what a game....total butt spanking big time.....Georgia just looked dazed and confused that the Tide was plain having their way with them........I bet nobody in Georgia ever thought they would have got manhandled like that.....

Ouch! You guys are kick'n a man when he is down....At least it was an SEC team! Seriously though UG had it's defensive problems exposed the last few games. The fans including myself was looking the other way saying they are just tired but in reality they have some issues. They will survive.

Hey, but what about them 4-0 UK Cats.....Got to love that Defense of theirs.......I hate to admit it but I'm starting to root for the Cats since my Oldest son likes them a lot.....Never thought I'd ever root for them since I'm such an Indiana Sports fan.....Don't matter if it's Basketball, football, track, swimming or soccer...I pull for them Hoosier's each year....

I'm just glad the second half ended up the way it did, that way Saban would still have some stuff to rip on his team about!

Any Bama fans or friendly UK fans in the Louisville area want to get together at some sports bar for some Barley Pops (as Devils Horse so brilliantly put it) for the game this weekend?

    Re: What about that SEC!!

We took some visitors down to the Opryland hotel for the tourist thing Sat nite, but I ducked into a sports bar for a checkup and saw the score in the 3rd quarter. 31-3? Did I see that right? Yep. Good thing a bulldog's got a flat face already, cause the Tide rared back and socked them square in the mouth.

Saban needs to make sure they're not looking past UK, the 'cats can play too.

Hey bassin_bug, you ever meet Rick Bragg in school? That guy is my favorite author, and he teaches a course at Alabama.

Careful who you hang out with JD, them UK fans'll skin you up. They ain't playing with a round ball though, so you should be okay. Still, take a seat with your back to wall. Once had a pop bottle bounced off the cranium, and it does not tickle. Truth be told I've really enjoyed watching the UK football program improve, and I usually pull for them.

Don, send me a Gators shirt, need to keep something in my boat for emergencies, and the TP keeps getting soggy.
