I've been looking forward to this all week. It should be a good one. I just hope Biden keeps his feet on the ground and out of his mouth.

Don't forget about this, we might get to see some fireworks.

Dodge ball tonight, but I'm set to record. Thanks for the reminder.
It's been funny tonight watching the experts discuss who will win. I'm really starting to like Lou Dobbs on CNN I wish he would moderate one of these debates. Oh well, we will see how this Liberal moderator does tonight.
So how do you all think she did? I thought she did great! Biden did good as well but this was her debate Biden was just the other guy. We will see how the experts see this. It was a good night for the GOP.
I thought she did well. I pretty much thought it was a draw, but I've heard that most polls, friends, neighbors, etc. gave a slight edge to Biden.
She did fine. Biden probably won by a small margin, but Sara has a likeability factor that he'll never touch. His answers, those of a career Washington bureaucrat sounded just like you'd expect, Palin struck a chord with normal people by talking much straighter. As the debate went on she got better and better, and her closing was significantly better than his. I like her a ton.
I thought she did very well and I can relate to her and how she presents things. Very intelligent women for sure. I say she won but Joe Biden did do fairly well also and I have to give him some credit for being very fair and respectful towards Palin. I like Palin more every time I hear her speak, she did not come from the Silver Spoon Society like most of the politicians and that means something to me.
I thought she did pretty good. Although, I think she avoided some questions, and kept referring back to her comfort zone (energy) too often. Biden did well too. It was the first debate in a while, where I think both did better than expected. I still don't think Palin is as familiar with all of the issues that a VP should be.
Yeah if I had to grade this I would say that they both got an "A". Sarah did not lose the debate which was the main fear of the Conservatives. Biden was solid and predictable but I have to say *gulp* at times even he made me smile because I actually saw a real person and not the lifelong Senator. I bet he is a good guy, I just can't stand his running mate! Poser!!!
Col., I think you hit the nail on the head on this one.I thought she did pretty good. Although, I think she avoided some questions, and kept referring back to her comfort zone (energy) too often. Biden did well too. It was the first debate in a while, where I think both did better than expected. I still don't think Palin is as familiar with all of the issues that a VP should be.
I agree Col, she is not up on the issues very well. She has a likeable personalty, she talks like a reg person, so did Biden, he's a pro she is a rookie and he could have really attacked her but he did not, and I respect that. I got sick of the maverick stuff though, she ran that into the ground along with her energy stuff. They both had some humorus moments, which was good for both parties. She did not give any great answers on some key issues and avoided some all together, Biden dodged some also, but she dodged more, she does not seem to me that she follows world events closley as well as some domestic issues, and also made a bad remark about the Castro Bro's, in context with Korea and Iran about evil dictators, Cuba is old news and Cuba is not the threat as it was, she should not have included them in that line, that comment showed that she is not current in world affairs. She is a respectable lady and a good Gov for Alaska, but she is not at all ready to be just a heart beat away from being PRESIDENT of the USA. This is not a reality show, this is real life.
