    Who to vote for?

Pretty simple decision really, it all depends on what role you want the federal government to play.

If you want the government even larger and more socialist than any time ever in American history, vote Obama. Never mind the undisputable fact the government is corrupt and incompetent. You'll need to overlook the fact the government, mostly the Democrat party is directly responsible for the current stock market train wreck. You'll also have to ignore the fact that Obama's additional taxes are the very last thing a staggering economy needs.

If you want government programs and taxes cut vote McCain. Bear in mind cutting government programs and taxes have already been proven to rescue the country's economy.

Please give us your source of information. The last I heard BOTH the Congress and Senate (of which there are Democrats and Republicans) voted to pass the "bailout bill" and the Republican President signed it. That's what started the crash that is increasing around the world.

I'm not an Obama fan but I still like to hear facts instead of opinions.

Someone said, "Not all liars are fishermen but all fishermen are liars." Since this is posted on the Off Topic Board, I suppose we could say, "Not all liars are politicians but all politicians are liars."

I'm aware of the makeup of congress and that both parties passed the bailout bill, but I disagree the bill's the cause of the crisis. It was a larcenous attempt to treat the symptoms. (They stole 700 billion dollars of our money)

I was referring to the the failure of Fannie mae and Freddie mac, the root cause of the current financial crisis. Their failure is not an opinion, it's a fact. It's also a widely documented fact that Dodd and Obama took more political contributions from them than any other politicians.

The Democrat party trading mortgages for votes and attacking anyone who tried to stop them is what really got us here. That however is only my opinion.
