I was at the falls sunday caught a couple sauger just before dark and a couple white bass up by the faster water ...
Ive been to the falls yesterday slow on saugar as many drum as you want tho good fighters slow on hybrids few and far between so far water still low but with sum current up top even caught a smallie whats the chances in that
The chanches are good to set a smallie especially on a blade bait. Were you guys fishing the lower spillway of the upper ??

The only good thing about the long **** cold winters up here is the saugar fishing....no its the eating, yeah definately the sauger eating!

Hey were you putting in today at HArrison ,I was the one in the old green & white tri hull w/40 .I was puttin in when you were...we only got 1 white 1 drum horrible
Hey Mike we fished hard today ,but not the first Jax Salmon..Usually in Oct. they are behind the Hydro in the 25 ft of water .We fished it today w/blades and jigs but not the first fish.I don't think the water temp has gotten cool enough yet. What do you think? They usually can be caught on the lock wall before they move up to the hydro .I didn't take any minnows but when the water is this warm they can be caught with out tipping w/minnows..I also fished the hump about 100 yards from the hydro and nothing .I have caught some nice walleyes in the old days when we bank fished behind the hydro for stripers ,we got some 4 lbs on the rattling rouges ...but not today..
