A legend is a narrative of human actions that are perceived by teller and listener to take place within human history and possess certain qualities that give the tale verismilitude. Legend is a historical narrative performed in a conversational presentation, reflecting on a psycological level of a symbolic respresentation of folk belief and collective experiences and serving as a reaffermation of commonly held values of the group to whose tradition it belongs. In this text, Elwood is truely a "Legend."
