Mills you said that at the end of the REGULAR season there would only be 3 or 4 teams from the Big East left in the top 25. You and Tim had a little bet kinda.
There are 6 in both polls, you loose the bet.
Prowler you were dogging on Syracuse the other day about Cleveland State getting them at home. Well last night they beat Butler ranked 17 and has been top 20 all year at their home to advance to the big dance. Maybe that wasn't such a bad loss after all, and by the way the Cuse is ranked 20 this week. You did make light of Louisville's win there after all.
Also WKU is in the dance yet again and I predict will make it to the second round. A loss Louisville has to hear about at least once per day from somebody, Gottleib and Phelps has brought it up about 15 times in the last week. Just some interesting little tidbits fellas.

Go Toppers! Sweet 16 last year, who knows. You know Brian I'll never understand how in the world Kentucky and Louisville let Pettigrew and Slaughter slip through their fingers. Both are quality players and heck Pettigrew was a Kentucky Mr Basketball.
I heard that Cleveland St. score this morning and wasn't surprised. They'll probably check in at a 13 seed - I wouldn't want to play them. You do know it took a 65 footer at the buzzer for them to beat Syracuse at their place right? But a win is a win is a win.
I think Syracuse and especially Marquette are ripe for an early round upset.
Now I can't let this go without mentioning that lowly DePaul scored a win over the mighty Bearcats last night. We know UofL gritted out a victory at the Bearcats place.
In addition Pat Forde in his weekly ESPN column mentioned the case against UofL as a 1 seed included only playing Marquette, UCONN, and Pitt once. He's a Louisville homer if I ever saw one.
Let me go on record as saying you guys are worthy adversaries for college b-ball debate!

Dude are you serious, lol. Pat Forde hates Louisville, always has. Check his column record when he was a main sports writer for the Liberal Journal in Louisville he trashed them every chance he got. Most if not all Ville fans can't stand the man and ESPN deserves that weiner. Bozich wasn't much better either. Yes I saw the replay on that long shot many times at the Carrier Dome it was a serious heart stopper. Loosing Dominic James really hurt Marquette, they had a chance to make some real noise in the tourney but without your starting senior point guard it will be tough for sure. Syracuse could very well check out in the first round, or go deep that team is hard to gauge for sure.
BTW, gritted out at Cincy, they won by 13 points and never trailed in the game, not sure that one was as close as you made it sound.
I took a chance on Forde. I couldn't remember if he was a hater or a homer for Louisville. Apparently he was a hater. Seems so long ago he was at the Courier Journal - I just remember the name and Bozich's as well but I rarely if ever read the columnists opinions on the local teams.
Now in board related news despite the sharp temperature drop overnight I found some smallmouth dumb enough to take my offerings. Water in the creek was up about 6 inches and they are actually chasing lures. I left the float'n'fly jigs at home, and I think it was a major mistake.
I am happy for UL, not sad for UK but I must say GO TOPS!

I believe if my memory is correct. I said at the end of the season ( NOT ) end of regular season..A big difference...Last Poll to come out will be after the Big Dance is final....So the bet is still on.....lol![]()
Oh no you didn't either, don't change your story now dude. I'll research the post and I'm all but positive you said at the end of the regular season. At the end of the entire tournament come'on Mills anybody would take that bet, nice try dude, Where you at Tim........
Hey I'm not that crazy dude....come'on you know my alzheimer's and pain meds are effecting my memory...So look it up and let's see exactly what I said, cause I sure don't remember the exact wording for sure....![]()
Good games coming ontoday...

West Va has heart....I hope Ricky P keeps his tournament head on his players.
Good point Billy they do have heart. You gotta give Huggy Bear credit the guy can flat out coach and make his kids play hard.
