going to barren in the morning. anyone care to share what the fish are doing?

Spinner Bait, Jig Fish are moving back to start spawn some are there now.

Here is what I found.
Fishing was tough again yesterday. They really started pulling water hard yesterday morning. Still high over summer pool. Water down around the dam is clear and up the creeks is a little stained. Still some debirs floating in the main part of the lake. Had 2 slot fish on a spinner bait up in the flooded brush, and 2 short fish on a smaller crankbiat out in front of the brush. Fish seemed to be deeper than usual, but I would say three days of sun and near 80 temps will change that.

I am not so sure your report is from barren. i don't think that there is a slot limit on barren is why i say that.

The limit on largemouth bass in Barren is 6 - 1 fish may ber less than 15". For tournament purposes, the less than 15" fish must measure at least 12". Thus the "slot" fish. By the way, I did pretty well this morning at Barren. Killed a 23 pound turkey and had about 15 3/4 lbs. in 5 fish. More to come after the weekend...
