I'm taking it that you are serious in your reply. If so, you're missing out on a great resource.

Tell everyone there is no fish in the river, keep it a secret for those who know about how great it can be.

i fish the river alot and yes theres alot of rough fish i agree but catfishing can be the bomb! aint nothing like battleing a big ole cat lets say 50s 60s+ lol its a thrill! i suggest give it a try. i also love to bass fish and the thrill of the river you just dont know! i go out i mite get in to LM,SM,HY bass, or all above and then bam!! big drum takes ur lure or a big cat it can be exciteing. and by the way i have caught 5 pds+ LM's from the creeks that run in to the river. last year there was a 9 pds LM caught out of the river here in meade county thats what i heard i can see it being. ohio river is one of the best fisheries we have not alot of fishing pressure most of the time im the only boater out were i fish

Well there was a small tourney out of Portsmouth, Oh on Saturday and it took 19.13lbs to win. All smallmouth... Plus I fished the Billy Backman Tourney out of Tanners Creek and big bass was a 5.25lbs and it was a smallmouth too... Yeah the river *****... dan

Hey fishhound, how many creeks run into the Ohio around there? I can't name but a couple (Sinking, Yellowbank, Indian and Blue River I think on the In side)but man, I know there are a half dozen or so including the Indiana side. Been down there bass fishing once and would cut my right #%& off to do it again! As a matter of fact, I have been thinking bout fishing the Blue River at the Ohio and up.
