hadn't even thought about it, but I haven't even seen a tobacco plant yet this year. and 20 yrs ago I used to work for everybody in it.

I went to Rough River this morning, going from Radcliff, along Hwy 144, to US 60, and picked up KY259 at Harnid. About half way from Harnid to Rough I saw something that was very unusual these days.
It was a field full of TOBACCO PLANTS!!
I don't know why it caught my eye but I remembered that when I got my first boat in 1985 and would drive the same route to Rough, most the fields along that route were tobacco plants. Now where there used to be tobacco plants are corn, hay, wheat, and soybean fields.
Just a comment but the Times, they have changed.
