Which Fluorocarbn to buy

I am wanting to buy a bulk spool of Seaguar Fluorocarbon. I don't know which one to buy, the Abrazx, Invizx or the Carbon Pro. Just wanting a little feedback on what you all think is the best and why you like it. Thanks Ryan.

Asking this question is going to start alot of back and forth it always does, I prefer the InvizX, and others like the Carbon Pro, if you talk to Dave Stewart he prefers the co-polymers. So as you asked here's my take:

InvizX on my shakey head rod - up to 10#
Berkley 100% fluro on my Jig and Carolina rig - 15#

I haven't personally seen benifits using it on crankbaits or spinnerbaits but again that's me. I do not use it on top water. The invizX is what I go with mostly I have not had a problem in 2-solid years of using it and I am on the water a lot. Lower memory and great casting. Again this is almost a Ford vs. Chevy so use the replies as a guideline and ultimately you will have to try them all. I am definately not a fan of the Viscous brand even though it is cheaper, you will hear strong cases for BPS Fluro and it is a good line as well.

After looking at the results of a study that a fishing tackle website did, I've come to the conclusion that BTX XPS and PLine Fluorocarbon are the best. Seagaur didn't test out as well as those two.

What kind of fishing are you doing with the line? If it is a moving bait I would get the cheaper seaguar (red label). The invizx casts really well but I don't think its as strong as the abrazx IMO. For my bottom baits (jigs, worms, etc) I prefer the abrazx.

I know what site you're referring to. I don't buy everything what they wrote now I say some of their testing are bull. Btw not once have Seaguar Invizx fail me, not once.

i like the invisx because i have used it. It is a little more soft than the XPS line. If you are going to use it on a spinning rod at all i would go with the invisx. Now if you are just going to use it say on a jig rod and baitcaster then i would say you could use either of them but maybe swing towards the abrasx. I have not used the abrasx but that is my take on the line. I have used the XPS and Pline Halo and i really like both of them for baitcasters but not as much on spinning. the invisx is by far the easiest to handle on spinning reels. this is just what i have found. I have not had any problems with breaking on any of the lines.

I used Seaguar Invizx last year and don't think it performed quite as well as the PLine I used the year before.

Bass Pro Shop XPS Flourocarbon, best in my book, never failed me yet. But ask a 100 fishermen and you will get 30 different answers as to which line to use. Personally, tried Invisix, Trilene 100%, Vanish, Vanish Transition, P Line and I think it was Siege but XPS is the best for me by a mile. No memory, very little backlash, haven't broke any fish off. Again just my opinion, but I will say I buy Invisix if I am in a bind and can't get to order my XPS and have it in time. I know where Invisix is sold locally versus none sold locally for XPS.

listen guys I have used it all and you can ask anyone thats knows me I have the wosrt problem with braking off on fish. I recently tried the trilene 100% flourocarbon and it has been the best I have used yet. atleast for me any way but thee rest are great lines just not for me.

I like vanish transition only because I can see it. I have had no problem with but would not consider an expert on line, I like P-line co polymere but I couldnt see it.

Like I said 30 different answers from 100 different fishermen. I do think it is funny that 2of the worst lines I have ever put on my reels, so bad that it only took one roll of Vanish Transition, that I bought and Trilene 100% Flourocarbon that a buddy of mine gave me 5 rolls to try asking for my input due to being pressured by one of the bigger companies to have him put it in his store, are both reccommended here. I have always wondered if there are some rolls of line that are better than other rolls of line, within the same brand, size and diameter. Vanish Transition to me broke easier than dental floss the one time I spooled it up with 6lb on a spinning reel and broke off about 4 fish that day. These 4 fish were all seen and none of them was bigger than 2lbs, all were Ky Spotted Bass caught with live bait at Cumberland. After breaking off 4 different fish that I saw, was enough to know that this line was terrible. Trilene 100% Flourocarbon was spooled on 5 of my baitcasters after I was given 5 rolls to try right before my first spring trip to Ky Lake in 2008. It had just came out and a buddy of mine that owns his own bait and tackle company was considering putting it in his store. He gave me the rolls to try asking my opinion. I found it a MILLION times harder to cast than XPS, backlashed all day on day 1 and I spooled it the same way I spool all my baitcasters. Fought that one day and went and bought 5 rolls of XPS at The Cabin that night and re-spooled all of them and had no problems then next 5 days of the trip. I found the line had terrible memory and extremely stiff to start. I know I had 5 reels full of it and tried all of them with the same result that first day. There again, it had just came out, maybe it has changed since but it is also reccommended here. I guess it all comes down to CONFIDENCE, which is a major part of fishing. Whatever line you have, whatever bait, presentation, location, presentation, etc...., If your not confident in your line then you will have doubts. To me XPS is the best on the market, maybe it is maybe it is not, but I know when I am spooling it up there is no thought of backlashing, breakoffs or any other problems, and every cast there is never a thought that runs thru my mind, "Is my line going to hold if I catch a good one". I use XPS 4-6lb as leaders for my FNF up to 14-17lb test on my baitcasters and even think that "for the money" the Bass Pro Shop Mono is the best Mono on the market, 1500 yards for around $8, can't be beat. I will buy Bass Pro Shop line, Mono and XPS, as long as it continues to perform like it has in the past because I have confidence in it. Again just my opinion and surely more on this topic will come
