Watched the game last and what stood out to me was how big this team is. It's gonnabe fun to see how they play. I'm really liking coach cal. He knows what to do in front of the camera and that has been lacking here for years.

I ran into Jock Sutherland last friday @ golden corral in nicholasville. He said Caliparri would stay 10 yrs and win 4 championships. The only thing they were lacking was Bledsole on defence. He liked this team and he was a pleasure to listen to, had his cap on and I dont know what its called but its flat on top and checkered with a shallow brim. Man I used to love listening to him!

Expect the Cats to see a lot of zone this season. I am not convinced they have good shooters and nobody can guard Wall one on one.

Jock is a character for sure. I graduated in 79' from Lafayette, when we won the Sweet 16. I still have no idea where he came up with the name "Jailhouse Junk Defense". Also had him for P.E. 3 that year, just show up, dress out, and get an "A" for that class. Always loved listening to him and Van Vance call the Cardinals games.

I am huge Uofl Cardinal basketball fan even though I graduated from UK. It will be interesting when UK play Uofl this year with all the Pitino stuff going on. Just for the record Pitino is a good coach who simply got caught with his pants down. I never did like him when he was at UK, but learned to like him when he came to UofL, however, it took a while for me to like him.

All good recuiters cheat when it comes to getting players to come to their school, the old phrase at UK is "if you are not cheating than you are not trying hard enough"

I ain't exactly a spring chicken,but I surely never heard that phrase.All these accusations against Calipari,but the funny thing he is he has never been directly involved in any violation or charged by the NCAA for any,as much as Rick did for UK he has 8 or 9 violations.
