There lies the root of slippedcork's way of thinking.

That is a big No No. Up here, if you arent a Canadian citizen you dont get free healthcare and thats that. If the illegal doesnt like that then they are free to return to their country of origin. I think your country wastes too much money on illegals. If you give them work and free healthcare then they are never going to want to leave. I have heard that is the reason for the problems with the mexicans. Obama really needs to be firm on that point. Just my 2 cents folks.
I am curious, do you like your countrys healthcoverage?

You need to tell this somewhere else SlippedCork...I think everyone here knows that all employee's do not get insurance, healthcare, etc...but I'll tell you what...I know of at least one or two dirt bags (people who don't work or do work occassionally but can't seem to hold anyone job for very long) that whenever they get something wrong with them all they have to do is go to University Hospital in Downtown Louisville and guess what? They don't get turned away, they get the treatment they need all based upon their income. Sure as heck makes me think we have a free healthcare system in place already.

    C'mon 2012!!!

You are correct! Thats the biggest part of the problem, expecting the hospitals to cover the bill. They will cover the cost and pass it on to everyone else, sound familiar?

Chub you are 100% correct. I see it first hand almost everyday. Just curious slipcork what do you do for a living? I think most people on here will agree with me. I also think most Americans who have a regular job will also agree with me.

Since when has raising taxes ever been a good idea?

Since you asked I work for a class 1 railroad. I also think most on HERE agree with you. I know more americans voted for a change, obama that is. If you make 200,000 a year then I can see why you wouldnt want your taxes raised, you couldnt afford it.

Ryan...I'm with ya! A few cold ones and a tap on the old fishing line makes for a good day. When do the stripers get around the warm water discharges in the river?

$200,000 I don't make that in 4 years. The people that I have talked to that voted for BO wish they could have their vote back! They know they screwed up big time, they admit it and are sorry that they did.

Don I don't know I have never been down there and fished for them but I am willing to give it a try.

    Ryan,
I know of several myself that voted for him and they admit they messed up. Simply put he won because the GOP messed up. The media voted this guy in and he could never have won anyother way. He seems to know that so he and the Libs are pushing so much junk down out throats at such a fast pace that we don't have the time to digest it.

The Libs could have had a Muslim named osama (theres a joke in there some where) running and they still would have won. But now since this guy is half black he is some sort of strong, smart leader. Naw just the puppet that the libs chose to be the figure head.

Ryan we need to get ole Mhall to fill us in on the river bite!

Love it! We do not provide health care to illegals! That is a big cost saving measure. I can have any doctor I want and go to the best specialists in any field and it doesnt depend on what health insurance I can afford. You pay for your own medication. So it is not totally free. Like women who need fertility drugs to get pregnant need to pay for that themselves and cosmetic surgury is up to you to pay for as they are not seen as essential which is right I think. But you get your doctors appts, any tests, Xrays, bloodwork, surgury are all free and pay for by our taxes. Now our plan has been in effect for about 50 years so most of the kinks have been worked out. Treatments are free for cancer like radiation and chemotherapy; laser eye surgery, stays in hospitals etc. I will tell you I certainly dont ever want to get sick but I dont have to worry if that time ever comes whether or not I can afford to stay alive or not. Its just one less worry.
