Re: Who will be UK's first loss?

Yeah no need to remind me of that Marquette team - we had money on Missouri, and I was in attendance at the RCA dome when Marquette beat them in OT on the way to the final four. It was that punk Novak that couldn't miss, but Duane Wade is still my wives favorite player cause we see him in person. It was supposed to be Missouri that beat UK in the elite 8 game not Marquette. It hurt even more when Marquette took the big dump against Kansas in the Final 4 game and got destroyed.

The 16 team one division bigEast could learn a thing or two from the old Conference USA. You gotta split that monster into at least two heads or it could be a Conference USA on steroids and have FOUR 4 team divisions. They could almost have their own march madness.

Patterson endured 2 yrs of Drunky Clyde. Actually stood up to Drunky Clyde for a couple of teammates on a bus(so rumor has it)( He told Drunky Clyde," If he gets off the bus, we all get off."). I'd like to see him help cut down the nets....But like it was posted...Lots of ball left to play.

What about Purdue Mr Prowler??? I saw them pull away from Tubby the other night for a W...I just wish all our favorites teams played Duke more....LOL!

I kind of like them since Keady left. No real superstars this year just a lot of solid players. I like that white kid Hummel. I'll stay low key on them so they will continue winning. I sure don't miss the days of Willie Deane jacking up shots from all over the gym and making 25% of them. We'll see how they do up at Wisconsin.

The two teams that I would really like to see win a national title before I die are Purdue and Missouri.

Keep hoping Louisville fans,it's the only thing that will make you happy,if Kentucky loses that is.Looks like ol' Rick is headed to the NIT again.
UL has no wins OOC over a Top 50 team and only 1 win over a Top 100 team (WKU). I seriously doubt if UL goes much over .500 in the Big Least.

But if UK loses that will make it All Right for you, huh?

I think UofL will make the tourney they'll have plenty of chances to pad their resume in big east play. Might get the "death knell" 8 or 9 seed but a bid nonetheless.

Kentucky lost to Marquette in the Elite 8 and UAB in the 2nd round ,those are the only CUSA teams to ever beat UK in the NCAA,we had no offense Tubby Smith then,Calipari at Kentucky is a whole new ballgame, but everyone can keep wishing and hoping for the worst.

I really didn't and still don't care for Tubby. Heck he could lose to the Ky School of the Blind. And Wade then is our Wall now....We sucked...We sucked last yr....But we don't this yr...Finally....

    DEAL WITH IT...LOL!!!!!!

U of L will make the tourney....They get plenty of practice the rest of the yr in thier conference. A lot of tough games for them. Barring injuries they'll get better....

    How about a UK/vs/U of L final 4 game???

That would be fine...U of L won the one and only TRUE "dream game" back in the 80's during this same scenario didn't they? That must have been a hard pill for UK fans to swallow cause it don't seem like they've got over it yet.

Thats a long shot there. UK has a better chance than UL but UK is one injury away (Wall) from being a one and done in the tourny. I love to watch him play but he is the key to that team without him they are done.

Without looking, was it the regional final 1983? I would have been 6 going on 7.

As long as nobody gets hurt, and Cousins doesn't hurt anybody, the first loss will come after the season, when Wall leaves. (I can see in happening) I think they will lose on the road to Florida or Miss. St. Its been done before, but very hard to make through conference play without a loss.
