Srry you got hurt over watching a b-ball game....calm down and view the games as i do...i'm a fan win or lose....
Oh I was already hurt I just re-aggravated it bigtime. I can get a fuzz overzealous at a game once and awhile.

Don't know about the bottom feeding. If this team could ever get a leader and finish they were in control of the Big East. Had Nova beat and let them off the hook and had Pitt beat at home one of the few that can beat them there, have a history of it and let them off the hook as well. Still 3 and 2 now, not bottom feeding yet.

No Senior leadership. I'd like to see Kyle Kuric take over this team, that kid has a ticker and a motor, but lacks skill. He rebounds like a crazed maniac. Just wait till that 2012 recruit class hits with Samuels as a senior and Peyton Siva in charge at the point, Louisville will be back, count on it.

The Ville is gonna steal one form you Clyde. Teagues is the name and he's from Indy and he is gonna be a top five player coming to wear a Cardinal uniform. Harry Potter wants him bad but he ain't getting him.

That game and the Nova game would have put them in the top 25......Sosa's not clutch. I'd play Siva right now and stick with him.

I agree, Sosa has run his course at Louisville, a very mentally weak player and I think I'm being kind.

Mhall I hope you've stocked up on antacids thru about March. You're going to need them!

Depaul and South Florida are pitiful - UofL is the leader of the middle tier teams right now.
    UCONNs sliding fast..........

Ya know the sad part is with just a little senoir leadership Louisville could litterally be leading the Big East right now. They had a 3 and 0 start, then beat themselves against Nova and this game at Pitt was just unfreaking believable. They said Rick was so mad at the end of that game he was non approachable.

I'll never understand why he won't put his best free throw shooters in the game when he's trying to ice one. I did a little research and Eddie Munster I mean Sosa shoots like 38 percent from the line in game winning situations, WHY IS HE ON THE FLOOR?

They were letting Jerry Smith have it a little bit on 101.7 this morning. At least before I ran out of range.............

They do need someone with "guts"

Not enough that's for sure. They did clamp down on him quite a bit though inside.

WOW, I just looked at his game performances on ESPN and he is stinking up the court BAD. At this point the only reason Pitino could have for giving this guy game time and especially starting would be his defense and even it's not stellar by any means.

He did not score a single point in Pittsburg. He is also shooting .223 from the three point line and that was suppose to be his upside. Sit him down and develop somebody else, he's killing the team.

I do believe jerry smith and sosa are the opposing teams best players when U of L is playing... For two young men to be seniors, their showing a prime example of what not to do as U of L Basketball Player's.... Bench them and start teaching the next starting guards of the U of L future....

If Pitino don't get these two knuckleheads out of the lineup and put them on the bench,,,,, U of L is in for a long and hard season of losing.....

    Re: Louisville *****

I think you guys are being a little hard on Sosa. With the exception of a game or two, he has played pretty well. I would like to see him improving his shooting percentage a little more, but he is averaging almost 14 points per game to go along with 4 assists per game. His assist to turnover ration is almost 2 to 1. Now free thorws down the stretch Saturday was horrible, but for the most part he has been solid.

Not sure what is going on in Jerry's head. Over the past couple of season when his shot wasn't falling, he was still a great defender and rebounder, but lately it seems even that has been missing.

I am not giving up on this team yet, because they have played a couple of really good teams lately and had chances to win both. If they can start putting 40 minutes together they can compete with anybody.
