I agree that LCP does take some getting used too. After shooting Splitshots I decided against it...it's just not for me. I would love to shoot the LCR to see if it has a better feel. Anyone shoot one yet?

My first time out with the LCP I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. Now that I'm used to the trigger, I'm alright. The trigger is funky, but I suppose that is the gun's only safety mechanism. Considering the trigger pull, I would not be afraid to carry it racked and ready. It would take an act of Congress to somehow trip that trigger in your pocket.

None of those guns are tack drivers, but I'm confident that I could put some rounds center mass at a self-defense distance if the need ever arises.

Great point man. It was easier to hit the target while watching the inset hammer. To be fair it isn't a target pistol and if it wasn't so hard you would end up like Plaxico who was just trying to help the little childrens...

Mark, my Grandmother died when she was 93 years old and was a "pistol packing Grandma" who carried a .32 cal. in her purse until she was 89. Her favorite thing to do was to sit on the porch with a .22 cal. rifle and pluck the squirrels out of her pecan trees. She once made a $10 bet with my dad that she could trim the hair in his nose with her rifle. Dad said he would take her up on the offer if she would forget about his nose and shoot a dime he stuck up on the gate post. She agreed, took aim, and the dime went flying into the air.......she had already had a couple of good stiff shots of Jack Daniels before she shot the dime. lol

Haha you could use it as an anchor if needed. Fired one at the range and I was amazed at how careful I had to be when I wrapped my hands around the handgrips....I put too much pressure on the Magazine and it would misfire. IMO... it has very little recoil compared to other pistols.
