The Dam operator calls me yesterday and says " We are going to increase the flow by 3k CFM today, And increase another 3k CFM Monday. So if you need to get any vehicles out across the bridge before the water gets over it. Now would be a good time !

So after Monday I might be getting some use out of the Drift boat to get across the Bridge ! Or get some use out of my chest waders !

Rock, I believe I've seen your cabin, just uphill from the bridge? Does this happen very often, and what about that house by the bridge?

when was the last time that they have done that. This can will not be good for us in burkesville who like to fish the river anytime soon send some help now lol no joke lol.

Not even the top rail of the fishing platform is visible at burksville. Maybe this current will wash that slimy weed growth back down stream. Some of those sand banks up stream from burkesville will probably lose some trees, hope they also make it to tn.

I bet you can caught alot of fish right now in the creeks like walleyes and stripers the color not too bad up here at the bakerton ramp thinking about in the morning put the boat in and fish crocus creek what do you all think .

Yep sound like you have. The house by the bridge had water up under half of it last year.

Now that you know where I am. You will have to stop by sometime and have a cup of coffee !

Last spring ! I guess this is about the only Road / Bridge that gets flooded from the Dam to Nashville. That I know of ???

Ha ! After looking at the river today , It would not be much of a ride. Just a big wide smooth flowing river. If the weather was nice and the fish were biting we would give it a whirl ! But Like My Grand Dad used to say " IF a frog had wings , He would not have to bump his hind end on the ground every time he hopped "
