Does anyone know if the ramp at Devil's Elbow is open? I talked to a buddy of mine and he said it's been closed for a while? Is that true? Last time we were there, we launched out of Bacon Creek, so I didn't really pay attention to whether or not it was usable. Thanks for the info!!

Its the east ramp we use.
i think the area was closed off last year while they were working on 68 but should be open now.
maybe you can dig up some info on here somewhere: http://www.us68lbl.com/index.htm
Thanks for the info fellas!!
ahh yeah... putting in at Devils Elbow, I wonder where you could be going....I think I know the answer, lol.
Ramp on the east side of the bridge has been open. They were working on the ramp west of the bridge this past year. It might be open now, i dont know but you can always go to the other one if its not.
Hummm... well... we both know it's NOT Taylorsville.... Hahahahah. I figured I couldn't get the living room back to Bacon Creek. You guys do any good today?
I live in the area of the ramp at the old camp ground, the ramp at the camp ground (east side ) is open. The ramp on the West side of the bridge is definitely closed.
If by good you mean fishing 32 degree water and having to plow through ice in the morning then yes. Another skunked day at Tville, lol.
Thanks for the info fellas!! Todd, you should have come down to Barren on Sunday... water temps in the mid 40's. I didn't get to fish, just fired up the living room and tooled around a bit, it was a great day!!
hey fellas,
I just called the LBL office to get the skinny on the Devil's Elbow Ramp. As folks before mentioned, you can put in at the Devil's Elbow East Ramp directly across the lake from Devil's Elbow West. The Devil's Elbow West ramp in LBL is closed, and will remain closed until they finish working on that section of 68. I'm not sure how long that will take, but I doubt it will be soon. There's also an area there where people camp near the ramp, that area is closed as well. I'm sure folks can find another place close by to set up shop this spring.
