Look at this photo. I am the guy in the camo shirt. I am assuming you know who the other guy is and what fish this is.

Nice pic Tim.
I bow to your greatness. Now if I send you a picture of me can you crop me in or give a man a hook up and take me to meet him and see THE FISH.
That fish is what keeps people going back again and again to the Hollow. What an absolute beast! I have seen all the black and white pictures of the fish, as well as some others in color, but your picture of the mount should definitely crush any question in mind whether or not the fish was legit. I was never skeptical -- I have heard Mr. Hayes is a class act. Takes a man with a tremendous amount of patience to put up with the garbage that those false affidavits and jealousy brought into his life. I feel for the guy, and am glad that the fish was reinstated.
Mr. Hayes truly caught an absolute FREAK smallie. Great picture -- I'm jealous that I'm not standing there drooling. I do want to know something........what was it like getting to stare at that fish mount? Also, did he name the fish? I know I would.......![]()
Now THAT's a good catch !
An awesome pic Tim, very nice. I have heard he is a prince of a man and very engaging to talk to.
thats my first time seeing the mount. thanks for showing it, now thats the kind of fish, that would make a ugly man like myself. look good in a photo. I've spent many nights on DH and Cumberland hoping to catch one like that. but my age, has caused me to lower my standards. now I'll be fishing and hoping for one just a little over half the size of the one mounted. ps.. someone asked did you name the fish. if not, you could call her [ Biggon } it sure would fit.![]()
Cool pic, Tim.
Great pic. Tim. Did you do a story on him??? If so were would I find it. Chuck
Great pic Tim T;
I was lucky enough to meet Mr Hayes several years ago and have my pic made with him and his fish at the Grayson Co. Swap Meet in Leitchfield,Ky. Mr Hayes was very gracious and soft spoken, and seemed to enjoy the attention but grew tired rather quickly and had to leave the swap meet early. I would post a link to my pics, but for some reason I can't find them right now.
Has Mr Hayes been ill ? He looks a lot more frail than a few years ago. Glad you got to experience meeting him, that will be something that won't be a reality to do in a few more years.
