    Gift Ideas

Hey guys, I know that this may get moved to another board but......
My 15th year anniversary is coming up next week and I should probably gt my wife something..... I was thinking of a new Loomis but she doesn't fish and that might not be appreciated so much.....
Any gift Ideas? What have you guys gotten your wives in the past?

Hi, I am not a guy but I was a wife for 19yrs so i thought I would throw my 2 cents in before the guys did. I agree the fishing equipment wouldnt work if she is not into fishing. Thats too bad. Now I know that women love jewelry so how about a gold necklace with a little heart pendant. Its something she can wear and it will remind her of your love. Ok yes I am a big time romantic.

15 year anniversary is the big one. On our 15th wedding anniversary I took my wife to White Castle and let her order cheese fries this time! LOL, not sure what to tell you about the gift, but congrats on your anniversary.

P.S. If something happens after 21 years between my wife and myself, I am going to Canada and hook up with Gills! ;-)

Fishing and hunting is great up there, just be a question of could you put up with me, and how much more money it would cost me to get to Dale Hollow to hang with Fisheater, Bandit1, toothless and others lol!

Sorry I got off track...thanks Tim LOL...I would go with a massage or pedicure gift certificate if she likes being pampered. If not take her out at the spur of the moment and wine and dine her....and like gills said you can't go wrong with jewelry. be spontanious.... They love that ..Good luck.

Another woman's opinion. I can only tell you some of the things my husband has given me for our anniversary. A necklace (locket) that holds a picture of him and a lock of his hair; a beautiful Seiko watch; a pair of yellow gold earrings; a wide yellow gold bangel bracelet; and a wedding band with 15 diamonds (3 ct.); and my favorite perfume. There have been a few times that we donated the money for our anniversary gifts to help the poor.

They don't have to be expensive to be nice and beautiful. It's ALWAYS the love and thought that goes with it that matters most. One year my husband was away on assignment on our anniversary and was unable to shop for a gift. He sat down and wrote me the most loving and passionate love letter any man has ever written. To this day it is my favorite and I cherish every word of it.

Bass Pro Shop Gift Card, they have womens clothing, if she is into stuff like that. They also have fishing and hunting items that are made for both a man and a woman, so she can find something in those departments as well. Boats are made for women as well, especially the Z9 with a 250 Yamaha. Plus, while she is shopping to use her Gift Card you can tag along and show what a good husband you are to go "shopping" with your wife.

When she was alive, she said she loved working outdoors. Got her an electric weed wacker, later a cub cadet riding mower. A border collie, and a ford taurus. This is true, what she really wanted was to travel. So she sort of wimpered, and I used part of 401K to buy her a 27 ft Prowler travel trailer. She drove it about 10 ft. 27 states later, we had to give it up. She kept a journal, with scores of pictures, and comments. about a month after she died I read it, and it was heart rendering, gave it to her son. I never erealized how much she enjoyed that life, and our traveling companions, the dog and cat turned into veteran trravelers
