Herrington Report

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I really like the information here.

Does anyone have a report for Herrington? I was thinking about going down tomorrow morning and fish for a few hours. Is there anything going on, or has the heat made everything sluggish?

Welcome aboard. I would only fish Herrington after dark this time of year. Personally, I like chasing the hybrids and the whites, so I don't have any green fish advice for that lake. Be carefull if you go, and let us know how you do.

Well, the heat scared me off today, so I went to the S. Elkhorn and waded for the afternoon throwing a roostertail. All in all we did pretty well, lots a panfish and rockbass, plus a few small smallies, the biggest was 13 inches. Good afternoon on the water!
