    Heat and lawn mowing

I have had it with mowing the lawn in 90-100 degree heat and humidity that would fog up a bathroom.

In this modern day and age, why can't somebody come up with grass that grows inside where the air conditioning is, and carpet that could cover the back yard.

I'm with you Bob...the heat we've experienced this year done got old a long time ago. Two months in a row of record setting heat, heck with it!! Hopefully the nights will start getting cooler by the middle of this month (or sooner).

    Re: Heat and lawn mowing

I LOVE TO MOW - WEED EAT GRASS IN THE HEAT!!!! I Love to sweat. Seriously, mowed 3 lawns a week ago Friday, mowed my Mother In Laws 6 acres a week ago Saturday, mowed 2 lawns on Tuesday, 2 lawns on Friday, 2 more on Saturday and my Mother In Laws again yesterday. Anyone that pays me for my gas to and from their location, I will use your lawn mower, I will bring my own weed eater and blower, and I will mow for $10 per hour non stop with no breaks. Lost so much weight and have not been operated on since Feb, taking very little medication and no pain meds, I feel as good as I have felt in 20 years.

Maybe you could change your mowing schedule to a cooler time of day so you won't get so hot.

Most of the time; except when I am naughty. Friday he mowed grass in the middle of the afternoon and was soaked with sweat. He came in to get a glass of water and I told him he smelled like a wet squirrel. That's why the lawn mower came by my window early Saturday morning. lol

I can't mow my grass when it's above 90. I'd have to go straight to the Emergency Room. I don't get along real well with heat.

If its too hot for you to cut your grass and you live in the Louisville area. Give me buzz. I can't do anything too big for a push mower. But heck, I've worked outside most of my life. The heat is nothing to me.
I got cheap prices too . Always ready to make a little extra cash.
