I'm against frivolous lawsuits as much as the next person....maybe even more, but I thought her lawsuit had to do with the fact that those security guards made the security video public.

I'm no expert, but I'll bet they're going to be in some trouble over that. It won't surprise me if they lose their jobs.

Possibly the case. However, from the video that I saw it would be difficult, if not impossible, to determine who the person was. Her filing of the suite provides that info.

Have to say, it was pretty funny I also think the suite should be thrown out.

Heard on the news this am that she was dropping the suit, as now get this, she has several charges against her for identity theft, she failed to mention that on GMA yesterday morning. I guess she got her 15 mins of fame, i hate these "fame seekers" will do anything to get on the news.

She sure tried to play all the cards.....it could have been your mother or an older person or there could have been a dry fountain. No one offered to help....OR you could just take your own mistake, learn from it and deal with it??

You're right, a personal lawsuit based upon that video would be difficult to win.

However, I still am willing to bet those security guards get in trouble for posting video from the mall security system on youtube.
