no, i still throw em. i just like practicing casting when i use them. lol. cant even get to try this year due to the mud lake situation.

I use a 6'6" MH with a fast rated tip, but i would say that rating is a little off. Its more a moderate/fast action. I am in agreement on the newer style jerk baits. Tey dont require as much effort as older ones. BUt i use rogues and husky jerks mainly, so i like having that MH backbone.

Another month or so and Crankbaits will be more in season. We can practice casting and cranking then. It's fun whatever we are doing.
